Dragons’ Den panellist James Caan has told the hit TV show – ‘I’m out’ – confirming he will be leaving on Twitter.
The entrepreneur – dubbed the nice one on the panel – has decided to leave the show after three years.
He posted on his Twitter account: ‘After four fantastic seasons, I have made the decision to step down from the panel of the much loved Dragons’ Den.”I have seen some excellent entrepreneurs and brilliant ideas and I thank them and all of the dragons for making it such great fun.
Mr Caan is involved in an ongoing spat with fellow Dragons’ Den panellist Duncan Bannatyne, with the two reported to have not spoken for nine months.
The entrepreneur has just released a book Get the job you really want and will now focus on his own business and charitable work.Mr Caan tweeted: ‘I will be focusing on my existing investments and some exciting new projects through HBPrivateEquity and philanthropic work with the JCF.’
